Well the BNP, oops, Reform have stated they will make it their policy to attempt to block any accommodation for asylum seekers in council areas they control. Definitely not a racist party.
Unless they are Ukranian…or white as Reform prefer to refer to them.

A lot of my friends work from home and go into the office twice a week. They all say they find that the right mix.

Anyway, it has to be said…..what f***ing business is it of any politician, especially a two-bit shyster like Farage, where anybody works from? That’s an arrangement between the employer and the employee and absolutely out of the purview of any politician.

Get out of it.
Not if Reform are running the council, they are the employers. You really thick aren't you?

There are fewer things funnier than someone being both this confident and this wrong at the same time

Reform are backing small nuclear reactors for energy.

"Clean nuclear energy would also be sped up through the use of new small, modular reactors, built in Britain"
The use of SMRs aren’t an exclusive Reform policy. The government are putting a lot into the development, as did the previous government. Based on that quote however, Reform do seem to have an exclusivity on making it sound like a simple solution that they’d implement tomorrow.

Their Council's, their Mayoralties, their whatever - nothing will be Reform's fault. It will all be the fault of central government/The Labour Party/Westminster.

People will buy it.

As it always was, Brighton & Hove Council have blamed everything on Central Government since 2010 but for some reason in early July 24 stopped blaming Central Government and now blame the previous government, I think it’s the rules right 😂

SMR's are completely unproven, even the Chinese have failed with them.

Nukes are about the most expensive way is adding capacity to the grid, add in the lack of quantity of scale and the cost will be even higher.

There were black people living in London in Tudor times. We are all mongrels. Farage himself is descended from French Huguenot refugees.
Every British person is descended from boat people. Romans, Saxons, Angles, Jutes, Vikings, Normans etc.

During the Second World War, Britain put out a plea to the Commonwealth to help us, and after to come and rebuild the country, although qualified engineers, accountants etc were put to work as bus conductors and cleaners because their qualifications weren’t good enough for the white bosses.
Yes, I remember the 50s of this glorious land.
No blacks. No Irish. No dogs...
Electro therapy or prison for homosexuals
Corrupt police forces
Corrupt government

It astounds me that folk are so sold on the glorious/good old days. Although I do ponder that perhaps it is because they were somewhat less closer to the grave than they are now.

Modern society is far more enlightened than it has ever been. It's only enemy is bad people. And they come in all shapes and sizes.

One Reform authority, I think an MP, talked of a return to 'morals', a word that makes me shudder whilst thinking of wearing a stiff collar and trousers to my Junior Church on a Sunday. Your M & S Sunday best. I wonder what their definition of morals is, because to me our society has more values and understanding than I have ever witnessed. If anything, the whole concept of 'woke' has advanced values and standards into a new age of liberal puritanism. So I rather suspect that the word 'morals' is more the same thing with the 'liberal' aspect removed as well as re-creating a hierarchical social system that has jettisoned attempts at equal opportunity.

It's a bit like when the Conservatives spoke of a return to Victorian vales with a tunneled image of please and thank yous at the Sunday parlour games- conveniently, or perhaps blindly, overlooking that rampant injustice and poverty of that time.
