Not Lewes
I know this keeps getting banged-on about, but it seems from the interview on The Championship programme that Niemi is now staying at Southampton.

I wouldn't be surprised to now see Blayney here, if not for Tuesday, then certainly in time for the Crewe game next Saturday.

I hope so.
It's no good keep relying on loans and although I love FDM to bits we still don't know exactly how he will react to playing again.

I reckon that as 'Arry 'Arfur Daley' Redknapp has messed MM about and we have this french bloke on trial maybe it's MM's turn to play hard to get.

That Niemi interview was a bit of a car crash, he appeared very uncomfortable about the whole thing, looking down the whole time and would doubtless have wanted to start the season anywhere but in the Championship.

Some bolke I was taking a piss next to at Derby yesterday reckons we have now agreed a fee of between 40-45k and he will sign Monday, but probably not in time to play on Tues.

Then again, A bloke I pissed next to is not automatically the highest authority in the world!

Henderson really looked very nervous which brings with it an element of concern.

I'm not sure Blaney really wants to come here, but we need another keeper soon. Henderson was well dodgy i thought, He spilled the ball 3 or 4 times all of which could of lead to a disaster, i know he was propbably a bit nervous and all, but didn't look championship quality, let alone Premiership

I really hope we get Blayney back on a perm, but... one game is not enough to judge Henderson, IMHO...

exactly - kuipers was pretty poor in his first game, infact he wasn't too good generally when he first came in. now look at him

and with yelldell, he looked very good at leeds. then look what happened

Blayney doesn't have enough hair to have a perm., but I digress....

If the interview with Niemi is to be believed, he's signed a contract, and so has no real option but to stay with Saints, so they don't need a 4th cover keeper.

Do they?

I think Henderson needs time to build upon his first start, i was rather worried about his handling but i aint going to get worried just yet, lets see if he improves against Reading on Tuesday.

Even if Henderson improves, I'd still rather have a permanent player in soon.
