I can see what you're saying, but I think you have to be realistic about the calibre of player we're in the market for. If you're looking for a player in his mid-twenties who has a proven track record and all but guarantees you 20-25 goals a season, well then JOIN THE QUEUE, cos every club in the League is after one of those. And in the Albions current position, we're about as enticing as a dental appointment for a root canal.

Yes, at 32 Forsters best years are behind him and there's no resale value. But if we can get a couple of seasons good service out of him, then he's WELL worth investing £125k in, IMHO. I'd much prefer that then hanging our striking options on some unknown 22 year old paintsprayer who's been dossing round the Rymans for a couple of years.
