I reckon it would be. Always thought Eubank sr missed a trick by not fighting at the Goldstone

In the Albions defence when Eubank Snr and Barry Hearn embarked on their Sky World Tour in 94-95, a contest at the Goldstone was put forward but the deal was so heavily in the boxer/promoters favour the Albion would have almost certainly lost money on the night.

Interesting to know, thanks. I know Eubank always spoke of not liking hometown crowds because he was fired up by being disliked.

He didn't walk away. Hennessy won the purse bids for this fight so the contract with Matchroom was FINNISH

He didn't have to terminate the contract, stupid decision.
Back to CH5 for Jr. Less money, smaller fights. But he'll have that British Title. :shrug:

It's like opting for an easy League Cup run over a place in the Champions League.
