The only thing I know about search engines is that Rees-Mogg (allegedly) lay down in Parliament, totally out of character, to game search engines so it'd be the top result if anyone searched for Rees-Mogg lying in Parliament. It seems to have worked, which is crazy. It's the same reason Johnson (allegedly) had his weird interview about making model buses so that's now the top result if you search for Boris Johnson and the bus because of obvious reasons.
