Hi, Just a quick update the doctors arent sure what type of lymphnoma cancer i have. They said it could still be a few days before they find out anything. So im stuck in limbo. There just looking to see if they can do anything about my leg. I hope they can at least i wouldnt be in pain anymore and could sleep. Then it would make me more stronger for when they find out what kind of chemo to do. Im not doing too good at the moment guys.

No im on quite high doses of pain killers i can manage it fine during the day. As you can see though from the time of this post. I went to bed at 10 and woke up in pain now. Its every night now i wont b able to get back to bed till at lest 3am by the time the pain killers start making an appearence. Sometime that will gey me through till about 8-9 but sometimes 3 out of 7 ill wake up at like 6.30-7. Ive been like this now since the beginning of november.

Think positive Cornish , you could be stuck in Grimsby  All the best mate.

or Wales
re your pain at night its always worse when you have nothing else to think about,I find myself watching some crap film on TV or come on here late at night and that sometimes solves it
be lucky mate

Keep letting the docs know how very interested you are in recovery, whatever pain and discomfort it takes.

We are all very interested in you making it through this, and consigning it to a bad memory once it's over.
Easy said than done I am aware of that, but we are all pulling for you mate - for a fellow ALBION fan to rub shoulders with at The Amex. Keep the faith, there's some fire in the bellies of your fellow Seagulls here too.

Cheers

Hang on in there, it won't be too much longer - at this stage you start to lose all sense of time and days seem like weeks but within the great scheme of things its not very long. From what I remember they have to wait for the different cultures to grow from the biopsy so the doctors can't speed things up and are probably almost as frustrated as you. At this stage I guess they probably aren't going to want to give you anything new for the pain until they know what they are dealing with as once they know what treatment you'll need they will probably move quite quickly and won't want anything in your system that might delay or react with the treatment.

Right a bit of an update. My biopsy tissue has gone to a lynphnoma specialist at deriford (plymouth) Hospital. Im going to hospital to pick up some crutches because i need them apparantly. The good news is that the cancer isnt spreading down my leg. The cancerous mass in my hip is against the sciatic nerve so thats why the pain spreads down the leg. They also reckon that the hip bone will heal itself once all my treatments finished so i shouldnt need a new hip lol.
Id just thought ill add that they probaly wont have any results this side of the weekend.
