Me too about Carlisle being promoted, as I recall their chairman wanted to take them into the Scottish league at one time and had an ambition about them becoming a Premiership team, I think he wanted to buy out Clydebank and use their place in the first division. Ultimately Clydebank folded and their place was taken by Airdrie Utd who were formerly Airdreonians, and we complain about franchise football in England, in Scotland it was far more cloak and dagger.
