After a damn good second half of the season where do you think we will finish next year??

Average over the last 7 seasons 75 points for playoffs 86 for Automatic

I think (hope) we will get around the 80+ mark

Looking at the teams coming up from L2 and going down from the Champ (Presuming Leeds go up) I see us finishing 9th. So probably around 68 points.

All depends on who we sign and who stays.
With trhe current squad as it is would probably finish mid-table next season just lacking a creative centre-midfielder, from what i've read Leven looks a hot target and rumoar has it Elphick is certain to leave so my judgment will be alot better off once there's been a few transfers made.

Why would Elphick leave when it's his DREAM to lead the Albion out as captain at Falmer and has just signed a contract extension?

Not always Skidmarks

A current player turned down a larger money move to stay here because A. he wants to play week in week out and 2. He is loyal to the club

Elphick will leave in the summer. He will not be replaced as has been Dick Knight's philosolphy over the past few seasons. We will be a mid table team next season and the board will be happy with that.

Doubt the board would be happy as the loss of revenue from the league and TV

Promotion is always the aim

If we get the right personnel in, then I don't see why we can't push for a top 6 spot.

If we don't then I can see us struggling next season.

Not concerned about those coming up more those coming down and still there. 3 out of the 4 play off teams, obviously plus Leicester who will be champions and Scunthorpe makes us about the same as this year even with some new faces.

Would like to make top 6, but once again will be happy with mid table next season and to go up the season after so we can start of at Falmer in the Championship.

To be honest I think we have over achieved this season and would be very happy if we challenge for the playoffs again. I can see us finishing lower down the table next year I'll say 12th.

If we have are lucky with injuries and the young players take another step forward next season top 6 is possible, although there are some damn good teams coming up from League 2 and down from Championship.

All I thought at the start of the 07/08 season, well, we'll do better than 06/07 but will be bloody lucky to get in the play offs. And we were nearly bloody lucky.

I think its dangerous to make any predictions for next season until we see the shape (and size?) of the squad. However I expect it will be more of the same; some good football, some excitement, a mid season slump sometime over Christmas and some dire results. I hope we'll finish in the top 10; but anything more - I'm not sure. I don't think we can be looking to tear up any trees in this division until the financing for Falmer is finalised and out in the open.
