Doesn't quite seem the perfect fit to me. Wagner made his name by recruiting largely cheap and little-known Germans from the second tier of the Bundesliga, who were able to adapt to his pressing game straight away (Kachunga, Löwe, Schindler, Hefele etc). You'd expect Fulham to lose a few of their bigger names when they go down, but they'll still have a lot of high earning stars (by Championship standards) and it'd be interesting to see whether Wagner's methods would work with them.

Lost his first three games in charge at the Cottage, you don't get much longer than that to make a name for yourself in football management these days.

how true. In order for him to be considered he would have to be pushing for a top 6 place by now
