There's a law of averages worry for me. 5 straight wins. 8 straight home wins. Can it really last? I'm coming down for the match on Tuesday night so I bloody hope so. If we can win the next two home matches we would be on 80 points with 9 matches still to play. It would take a monumental cock up to not be promoted from there.

Interesting isn't it?

Huddersfield "unbeaten in 2011" Town have maintained their deficit at 7 points but having played 2 games more in that time.
SCC have fallen a further 4 points behind despite all that Adkins has had to say on the matter.
Posh are the only side to have gained 1 point on us but have played an extra game.

Everyone else has slipped further behind and in some cases seem to have fallen off the planet!

What makes it all the more interesting (and difficult to work out) is the number of games still to be played amongst the current top 7

Tomorrow P'boro v MK Dons
1st April P'boro v B'muff
2nd April SCC v MK Dons
9th April Huddersfield v P'boro, Orient v SCC
22nd April MK Dons v Huddersfield, P'boro v Orient
23rd April Albion v SCC
30th April Albin v Huddersfield

The 22nd April could be a big day for us. Possibly secure promotion that day without even playing?

Last time we got automatically promoted from this league it was as the result of another game (Tranmere-Reading I believe).

Indeed it was Easter and we were driving towards Disneyland Paris and literally just heard the news on 5 live before we lost the signal, pretty certain we had beaten Peterborough 1-0 away the previous day when Zamora scored in around the 80th minute.

Well Huddersfield haven't lost in 2011, and Pboro have won last 5 in a row I believe.

think 90 points will be enough though, but means won't be promoted until last couple games.

We haven't lost at home ALL SEASON and we've won the last 5 on the bounce as well! I'm not looking at them, I'm looking at us, it's ours to lose! I think we'll be up at Walsall.
