How come Newcastle v Sundeland went ahead with both teams wearing their home kits (Black/White v Red/White) when we had to change into our Real Brighton shirts?

Once again it's one rule for them and one for us

Their white kit was like ours a one off.

Because they would have clashed with our white shirts :jester:

But I'm sure I've seen pictures of them wearing it before the Burnley game??

Can anyone remember what Coventry's away kit looked like when they played at Withdean? They've played in their home shirts (sky blue & white stripes like us) in away games at Ipswich & Leicester, both of whom wear blue shirts.

What's going on there? Can't Coventry afford an away kit?

The only reason why we created a one off kit was because our kits 'may have' clashed according to the referee and we would have had to wear our training kit or wear a palace top again

anyone remember a game at the Goldstone (sometime in the 90s) when the ref said there was a colour clash and the away side's hadn't brought a change so they played in our second yellow kit (the one that looked like it had been crapped on by a seasgull on one shoulder). first time I have not been happy watching a team in albion shirts at the Goldstone
