That Andy Carroll seems to be a bit of a headcase.

I've always respected Taylor since his magnificent bit of acting when he was sent-off for handling on the line and pretended to have been hit in the face. Unless my memory's playing tricks on me, that happened in the same game as the Bowyer v Dyer scrap.

Your memory is spot on, Newcastle vs Aston Villa. He punched the ball away and then hit the ground as if he'd been shot by a sniper! The referee should have let him off on humour, and flair, grounds! But no, Newcastle finished with 8 men.

On the subject of this bafflingly vague story, (it might have been Carroll, it might have been because of texts, it might be a broken jaw....) strange things go on in a dressing room! Just search for Jimmy Bullard laundry prank on YouTube to see what he got up to in the Wigan dressing room! :lolol:

Are Andy Carroll and Biffa Bacon one and the same person? I think we should be told.

Andy Carroll's already on a charge of ABH after a fight in a nightclub so if Steven Taylor gets the Old Bill involved he could be in serious bother. He's starting to make Joey Barton look like a role model!

Right, so Andy Carrolls broken someones jaw, whilst already on an ABH charge.

His replacement in the team could be Danny Guthrie. This is the guy who broke Craig Fagans leg last season with a cowardly challenge when he lashed out and booted the guy from behind. He's also just been back in court last month for speeding - a few weeks after he'd just got his licence back following a separate speeding ban for doing 101 in a 60.

Then you've got Barton just coming back from injury and ready to play....

ASBO United or what.

I've just broken this story to a Toon supporter mate, though I'm not too sure if it was such a good idea asking him if he was going to join "Team Taylor" or "Team Carroll."

Andy Carroll scores again. I *think* that's something like 10 goals in his last 11 games.

"Carroll, who scored his 15th goal of the season with the equaliser at Bristol City on Saturday, had been included in the squad although it has been suggested he has a damaged hand and may not play."

:shootself

:lolol: This story gets better and better. Classic little quip there!

I'd be in Team Taylor, not just for the alliteration, but because he's a quality player and comedic genius.

Intriguing that he played last night if he did break a team-mate's jaw at training. May well be an indication of how desperate Newcastle are to get back in the Premier League - you would normally expect a player to be suspended after such an incident.

Not sure that this Toon is big enough for the both of them.
