Crystal Palace have just signed a promising 19 year old who grew up in one of the most war ravaged areas of Sierra Leone.
After his first training session with his new team mates he phoned home, eager to pass on his exitement to his family.
His mother answered the phone "Hi Mum, how's things" he said. "How's thing's" said his mother "how's things! Things are terrible, your dad's been murdered, your sister's been gang raped, and your brother's been robbed, and beaten within an inch of his life. And it's all your fault". "My fault! How's it all my fault" He said. "'cos if you hadn't joined Palace we wouldn't be living in Croydon!!" came the reply.
