I think you'll find the new season starts Thursday night (well Friday morning).

Sky Sports 1 have the opening fixture from midnight, kick-off is 2am

What the f*ck are you on about ? The season started weeks ago, and I can't see Brighton in that list.

Whereas every other thread this morning is relevant and important?

Bills for me, Reading. Started following them in about '83 'coz they were the worst team in the League. They repaid that faith by putting their fans through agony in four consecutive Superbowls, '90-'94, particularly the first one (remember Scott Norwood?).

Like chess with violence - a cracking sport.

We'll beat you on Sunday. I'm a Cowboy, although we have no chance of making post-season.

Would a mod please delete this thread asap.

Why?
Marshy, are you telling me this is any further off topic than large amounts of the drivvel that appears on here. Or do you just hate US sports?

Either way, just ignore it mate, if you don't like it.

The Giants because they're the local team and wear blue and white.

Pansies eh? I remember watching the Superbowl last year only to hear that one of the Raiders Cornerbacks was playing "Despite his broken leg," Yep, he'd broken his femur a couple of weeks back, but rather than have an operation, and plastercast etc, he just had a plate inserted so he could finish the season.

The friends around me (not Albion fans) couldn't understand why, on hearing this, I leapt up and started shouting abuse at the screen about whether "Paul :censored: Kitson was watching this, the :censored: useless, pile of :censored: who won't play with a broken :censored: fingernail .... "
