Do we need Zesh ?

Another player who i would compare to El-Abd, can cover a variety of positions without being good enough to be first choice at any.

Solid player though he is i would like to think we would be setting our sights a little higher, was reasonable in the beginning of his first loan spell here but wasn't overly impressed last time he was here

I hope we are signing Rehman if only to put the Virgo rumour to bed for good.

Zesh would be a quality signing. Always remember that THUNDERBOLT he scored on what I think was his debut... put in some pretty consistant performances after that 'n all.
the one against Rushden? fantastic strike!

Rumours like this scare me. I know there is always a certain amount of reflection on past times when a manager comes back but seriously, ALL the rumours relate to old players that we didnt fight tooth or nail to sign when they were here before or players that have not been great since they left us.

We need to look forward!

I would be quite happy with Rehman. He didn't look that fit during his loan spell, which is understandable as he was not getting games and the team was in freefall.

Useful player, adds some height and bulk to the team and has experience in the higher divisions. He did however play for Pakistan when they lost 7-0 to Iraq. :D

I don't know anything about Barker. So I am struggling to decide between "Sign him up Micky :clap2:" or "Oh f***, not Barker! "

Rehman was like a roman candle. He was spectacular at the beginning and really lit the team up. But he soon fizzled out into something less than useless, and just left a bad smell in the end.

I've read that analogy again, and I'm satisfied it works.

Agreed........But that was about his sum contribution to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.

Where are all the people that were ****ing off CKR yesterday? If ever there was a lazy shit that had no inclination to play for this club it's Zesh Rehman

Saw him for QPR a couple of times a season or so ago playing at centre half and he was appalling! No thanks!

Yup, Rehman was indeed shit and I was glad to see the back of him, thankfully it was just a short loan period so the damage was minimal. Not sure he was quite the workshy FOP that was CKR, mind. He was just a plodder.
