Calde is fine, what we need is a player in the middle who can either run forwards with the ball or at least make a pass that causes the defence trouble. Our midfield is way too industrial at the moment, no creativity whatsoever.

Need to be able to put the ball in to a decent position in the box first.

Dont know what game you was watching! We put more quality balls into danger areas than Forest! Barnes missed a free header from Buckley free kick,LuaLua put a good ball across goal which none attacked,Calderons header in 2 half, even Upson played a good ball into their area.Theres 4, and could go on!Forest scored theirs! Barnes not good enough to lead the line on his own, therefore squad lacking, therefore player recruitment shite and management questionable as we need to keep TEAM clean sheets and be awake for restart.Their first goal was important but to give it away minutes into restart was very poor. And not the first time it has happened under Oscar but in fairness to him we were like it last season aswell.

Greer is woeful. Has been found out in the absence of Bridcutt because he has no one to pass to. Gave away the ball that led to the pen today. If it had stayed 2-1 for a few minutes we'd have had a chance, especially with their 2 and 7 on yellows. Have to agree on Calderon too. No match for anyone with pace. An WTF has happened to Buckley this season?

Bad game but where was all this a few games back against Reading and QPR. It's an over reaction to a defeat

To be fair teams are attacking us down our right side. If you were a manager you would try to avoid playing down our right side with Ward and Upson there and the ball going to KLL and then him tormenting their defence. So put the pressure on our right side and you have a chance to get results. I don't think Calde is solely to blame.
Let's be fair we did not concede against Reading and QPR away.......but did we score or take our chances....no.

Caldy's a lovely bloke, full of effort, plays with his heart and loves the Albion.........but he's a liability.

Since the beginning of 2013 teams have sussed him out and attack us relentlessly down our right side, usually forcing Caldy into a desperate challenge and picking up a booking. OK Zaha ripped him to pieces in the Play Offs but he did that to loads of full backs, but now every team is doing it to us.

Not helped by Greer's disastrous form.

Spot on. Great bloke and good offensive skills, but has been found out defensively since the very end of the League One campaign when against decent wide men and there are plenty of them in the Championship.

Because he is popular, you won't be allowed to express your opinion by dictators.

Or just maybe people don't agree with you, and may offer a different opinion.

Disagree yesterday's miss aside think calde has been one of our better players this year. Offers a threat going forward and fairly solid with good pace

But not very good as a defending full back, especially against a pacy winger, which is his main job. This division is full of pacy wingers unfortunately.

I understand what you are saying but how many of the top sides have the level of fullback who can cope with that. Look at Forest yesterday they could not live with lua lua yet there are far better wingers in this division. Calde is not premier league quality but good enough for this level. It would take some serious money to bring in 'bridge' quality full back which we do not have
