New nicknames for other teams

Bring some traditional club nicknames bang up to date (like when Wrexham decided they should become the Dragons instead of the rather weedy -and very common- Robins).

I like the Blunts (for Sheffield United), and the Dingles (for Barnsley/West Brom depending on your vantage point).

Swindon- are known as the Robins
Should be known as the Inbreds

Plymouth- are the Pilgrims
Should be the Cousins, or the Pasties

Palace- are the Eagles
Should be- the Budgies, the Beagles, or the Chavs

QPR- are the Hoops or Rangers
But should be the Queens.

Fulham are the Cottagers
But should be- oh no, nothing can top being known as Cottagers.

I hate Man U fans who live in Brighton, Essex, Wales etc..

They are purely bandwagon fans, supporting the "best club" around.

...and why would anyone want to stick up for them.

You can hardly call BHA non-attendees glory hunters. I get encouraged every time I come across someone who at least shows an interest in the club ... the people who currently go to Brighton games are not going to fill a 22,000 seat stadium.

Support your local club, even if that means going once in a blue moon to games. That has to be better than being a Sussex based Man U fan.
