I would go with black socks, something we had from 1901 through until 1947 (with a few gaps). Although, the black socks did traditionally get worn with striped shirts and white shorts.

No, I like the blue shorts, but our original kits had white shorts and black socks so I guess I was going for a nod to that. However, if we were going to have a nod to our history, I think we should go with the striped shirt rather than the one I posted above.

Gosh, this picking a kit is more difficult than it would first seem!
