Hello to everyone on NSC. Thought I'd introduce myself having joined last night.

Didn't make it to the game on Tuesday (or Carlisle) but going to Doncaster, Forest and Leeds

Know a couple of Donny lads coming to the game on Saturday, they're not amused having to pay over £20 for what they described as the worst away stand in the country

Welcome - in case you haven't worked them out yet don't get caught by some of the long running "jokes" on here...

others will add to the list but here's a few to go on with:

- the most obvious is "FIXTURES" and the widespread mock indignation at someone posting something that's already been mentioned in another thread

- Ernest posts like he's a complete twat who hates the Albion and everyone connected with the club - but he is actually something of a superfan

- it is a very hard school for joke telling... most get fairly short shrift (see FIXTURES) but it never hurts to try (especially if it includes a reference to hand-jobs...)

- probably most important though, given your user name, is to make sure you don't misunderstand Uncle Spielberg's racing/football/meteorological betting advice to be serious tips... he has made an art form of sucking people in by posting ridiculously unprofitable selections over several years now but some people still take his tipping posts seriously...
