Correct. Realistic as well, I think.

Well if we intend to go up loan until the end of the season and then permenant. (if he will come!) I think we will start to look like an attractive option now we are out of the bootom 3.

I think I would agree with Strings, Put Walker on the bench for the experience, and when safe, give him a run out. Watched the reserves the other night, and although did not have much to do, made a first class save, and did a steady job. There were some players on the night who clearly did not want to be there. Bring the youth through.

Another vote for fon williams

PLEASE not Schmeichel. HE really doesnt appear to know where he should be standing when the round white thing comes near him...

David James is probably available...............or Hibs have a goalie if we're desperate.

So where does Josh Pelling figure in all this?

Has he moved above Mitch Walker in the pecking order?

Owain "And before you ask: no, I don't" Fon Williams.

Hasn't had a great season at Stockport by all accounts, but supposed to be a great keeper behind all that. Maybe he needs a fresh start.

I'm sure our youth team keepers are OK, but they're still very young to be thrown into a Football League environment. Goalkeepers tend to mature later than outfield players, as the midfielders and strikers of this world can hide behind the rest of the team, whereas keepers are exposed to everything. Sullivan wasn't too bad, but other than him, we have a fairly crap record over the years of producing number 1s.

Have any of our youth team keepers (other than Sullivan, and that's arguable) ever gone on to better things on leaving the Albion?

Have not been impressed with Fon Wiliiams when he has played against us or when I have seen him on TV so I would go for Scmeichel of Notts County or Jimmy Walker of Spurs short term ie 1 year.

Although Murray of Wolves on a season loan would be a good idea.

Richard Martin ended up [for a year at least] at Manchester City, after we released him...

The players that clearly did not want to be there at the game during the week was, hoyte. Apparantly he asked not to play before the game. That showed in his performance. Although Fozzie got his hattrick, he did not tackle back when he lost the ball. Whing was average. Prooves my point now going elsewhere.... Shall I carry on? ....
