Just heard we have a new keeper. Signed on a non contract basis.

Didn,t catch his name, all I heard was he is 26 and former Torquay keeper.

Goes straight on the bench tomorrow.

Anyone heard this?

Is it just me but I've totally lost interest in what goes on on the pitch!

the very survival of the club hangs in the balance!

Glad to hear McGhee is still focused on footballing matters despite the obvious distractions.

Brighton have moved to add goalkeeping cover to their squad by signing Stuart Jones on a non-contract basis.

With a knee injury set to rule first-choice Michel Kuipers out of the games against Wycombe, Luton and Grimsby, Albion boss Mark McGhee has been swift to bring in a new stopper.

The 26-year-old linked up with his new team-mates on Thursday, and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Wycombe.

McGhee told the club's official website: "We've been looking for someone who is out of contract or on a free, because we couldn't afford to use up our last loan.

"He was recommended to us by Steve Claridge. He's looked good in training, has looked very solid and looks like someone who will fit in here. We'll give him a trial, but at the same time he'll cover on the bench."
