We are aiming to have the most exciting cricket museum in the world at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove.

To donate £1 please text MONT07£1 to 70070

The whole pound will go to the purchase of interactive exhibits - there are no hidden costs

Thanks and please come to visit us when we open on July 12 during the Hampshire match

Sounds great... done.. but you need to send MONT07 £x where x is the amount in £s you wish to donate.

Can you tell us more about the museum and what will be in it?

Well done Titanic - thanks.

The new museum is under the Pavilion where the Groundsmens shed used to be. Sussex has a fantastic archivist called Rob Boddie who has worked voluntarily for the club for the last 14 years and looks after the best collection of cricket stuff at any county in the country.

We have great items belonging to Sussex legends like Ranji, Fry, Tate and Parks as well as very good memorabilia from the recent Golden Years and an excellent collection of books, scorecards, postcards and autographs.

To this we are planning to add interactive exhibits like Wii Cricket, Stick Cricket, Speed Guns and Pro Bowler where you can have Luke or Monty bowling at you. In addition we will have a variety of video screens offering footage of great Sussex moments and interactive quizzes etc.

It will take time but thats why this fundraising is important. The sooner we raise the money the sooner we can get the exciting interactive stuff in there.

Thanks again for your £x donation!

Done. Sounds excellent.

Anyone with even a passing interest in Sussex cricket should be happy to do this and spread the word.
