[Albion] New Amex record attendance?

The Premier League website is showing the attendance for today's game as 31,872, which would be a new record attendance for the Amex (beating the 31,746 who witnessed the battering of Chelsea last October).

However, the match report on the club website shows the attendance as 31,672.

Which one is correct?

The club announced 31,672 during the match. I’ve a feeling that 31,872 is above our capacity too so the former number is surely correct?

As above, 672 was what was announced at the game.

Either way, the amount of empty seats in the East Stand alone means it was not an actual record attendance
