How come all these bastions of free speech aren't all over this?
Are you a bastion of free speech then? I see you rightly voiced some kind of objection.

That said, the owner can do what he wants, but it won’t stop Neville voicing his opinion, and as we know this will not make the owner look strong but weak.

The owner can’t make this decision it has to be the trust.

Trust the trust. 🤣

Shame couldn’t have got rid of Carragher as well.

I think it’s funny, clubs should absolutely temporarily ban twats like Neville (and Carragher) from their stadiums if the mood takes them. Clubs dole out bans for all sorts of spurious reasons from what I understand after reading several threads here over the years.

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Southampton banned press photographers at one point, which resulted in articles mentioning the South Coast club, instead of their name.
Alex Ferguson banned several journalists at one time.

Which bastions did you have in mind?

Sensitive fat bloke bans Sky pundit from the football ground he owns.

Nope. The earth hasn't moved for me. What am I missing here? ???
More specifically those who supposedly stand up for free speech but have a problem with Gary Lineker exercising his freedom of speech on the basis he is a football pundit and his views should only be about football, but in this instance, Gary Neville is also employed as a football pundit and did express a view which was football related. Where are those voices? Or did I miss that?

I might be mistaken, but didn’t PBOBE ban a member of the We Are Brighton fraternity from The Amex for writing something pithy about the owners of Manchester City?

Happy to be wrong about this.

I quite like GN as a pundit I'd probably like JC as well if I understood the language he speaks, it's up to Forest who they let in, it's not like Sky Sports run football is it. 🤔

Oh I see, yes.
I'm with you on that
Albeit most recently he carelessly retweeted something with the antisemitic rat trope,
so I'm not leaping to his defense on this occasion.

Of course, if all the right wing goons who come out with their brand of offensive bollocks were to be dispatched just as swiftly, it would be nice.

They would have contract with the premier league which would state the Premier League's main broadcasters and sponsors would be allowed exclusive access to stadia, players etc which those sponsors pay alot of money for, so Forest are contractually obliged to let him in

We should all ban Neville so the only place he can watch football this weekend is to see Liverpool lift the trophy at Anfield
