Immigration are the real pain; I have to deal with them every time I come back to work. I can honestly say they are the biggest bunch of useless, inept, power mad, twats you will ever meet!

Can I join you in Seattle?
One of my favorite places in the whole world.
Been about six times.
Every time I go there get a Ferry to Winslow and go in the only Supermarket in town, buy a bottle or two of beer and go and sit by the water while listening to the radio or reading.
Perfect!!!
The Airport even before 9/11 was a pig.

Despite my stance in agreeing on the USA laws to ban internet gambling I can confidently predict I will never ever visit that country again (only been once).

Sign up if you have no intention of never going there.

I'm the same as you Beachy, but I'd only go back to New York, its the the best city in the world in my opinion. The rest of it is filled with the biggest bunch of weirdos and religious nutters I've ever had the misfortune to meet. Plus the government are a load of neo nazis who definetly had something to do with 9/11.:nono:

Been 5 times (Dallas x 3 / Phoenix x 2) and loved every minute... they actually know what I mean when i go to a restauarant and ask for no veg. Unlike in the UK when I still get green and orange stuff put on my plate.

Going to New York next month, for the third time.

It's BLOODY FANTASTIC!

Staying at your usual hotel again?

I'll certainly be going back there on my next trip to NYC (next summer, hopefully).

The states is pretty hit or miss there are

great places:

New York: a hyped up, more built up and more vibrant London

The whole of California:beautiful and one of the only places in the states where the people are ok.

Las Vegas: tacky but fun and a good night out

Miami: incredible nightlife, great beaches

Boston

and awful places:

Orlando: horrible, horrible place. English chavs everywhere, you could almost be in a palm treed version of Gillingham. Apart from the theme parks there aint a lot to do there, and every other shop is a f***ing Wendys or Mcdonalds.

Texas, when I was there - GRIM, really backward people, a lot of the south, although beautiful is full of nobs.

and then you have dangerous places where not a lot is going on like Detroit and Washington.

A mixed bag

I don't believe you've really been there. To say the whole of CA is one of the only places where the people are okay?

You probably stopped over at a couple of airports and decided from the plane window.

I did 2 months travelling round Cali. The rest of my states trips have been the odd week here or there. People seem more laid back and friendly on the west coast.
