I thought he was neat and tidy and helped us keep possession pretty well.

That's not to say he deserved to start or he deserves a new contract. However I think he's being slated a bit unfairly on here.

turkey i must agree with you. a lot of people are slating him because they think they should imo. he wasnt our best player but that does not automatically make him our worst. thought he was ok no more no less.

I am lost for words.

He was PONY and alwats had been, probably the most ineffective player I have ever seen.

Correct.

Talk about 'jumping on a bandwagon'... Give the guy a chance.

None of this means that he is worth a new contract! Surely we can do better!

Exactly Lush - He was ok.doesn't deserve all the stick but he did nothing to warrant a new contract and looked very ordinary for someone who should have been running his heart out, busting a gut to prove his doubters wrong. He could get another chance against Hartlepool ?

thought he played a few nice balls and crosses in the first half but understandably tired in the 2nd half

He only played as Harty's missus was expecting to drop a baby at any point. I'm sure Hart will be back in at the weekend, unless MM is looking to prove a point.

And what point would that be, that Albion players shouldn't inseminate women? Course Harty will be back.   Be interesting to see though if Lee or Piercy are retained for the bench or both are.

I thought Lee started brightly but faded in the second half. He was not really match fit for 90 minutes of first team action. He made some decent tackles and a couple of good crossfield balls in the first half. In the second he was not really at the races.

The abuse he got from some of our fans was not warranted, from the first minute one bloke near me was giving him grief.

He wasn't bad as such, he just didn't really do anything! And the little things he did do weren't bad, they were just nothing. He didn't add anything at all to the team, which is a bad thing!!:lolol:
