Which of these coastal towns (neighbours to Brighton & Hove) is the GREATEST, or indeed "least depressing"?

Abort, retry, fail
That is uncanny. I was thinking about that in the car on the way home.

A toss up between Shoreham and Eastbourne. The other options make me want to hurt myself, possibly fatally.

I voted Littlehampton for some bizarre reason. I suspect I'll be the only one, as it really is far too close to Portsmouth for my liking.

None.

The best improvement to any of these inbred backwaters would be to come under the control of cosmopolitan, metropolitan, forward thinking Brighton and Hove.

Peacehaven - Suicide capital, understanderbly.
Shoreham - Chav Central.
Worthing - Fast becoming part of eastern europe.
Eastbourne - As above, apart from the Scouse bits.
Seaford - Alchoholics on benefits.
Newhaven - Might as well be a mining town, close it down.

Oh

Littlehampton, I forgot, precisely my point.

Gotta say I agree with wellquickwoody. I lived in Lancing (sandwiched between the two arseholes of Worthing and Shoreham) from the ages of 8 to 32. God it's a shithole.

EDIT: I came from the Croydon area and Croydon is MILES better than any of the towns listed.

If you insist on only giving options no further East than Eastbourne, then I refuse to take part in your poll ON PRINICIPLE !!! :tantrum:

eastbourne has the added bonus of stations in the vicinity called hampden park and berwick, which can lead to the never-gets-boring situation of asking train staff why a train from brighton to eastbourne goes via scotland

therefore, it gets my vote
