It’s National Bad Poetry Day.
And so, it recognition of our survival on 18 August I encourage you all to offer up your worst lines.

Channel your inner E J Thribb.

Oh Albion Albion
On days like these when I put off the world
I turn to tattered thoughts from young and old.
On North Stand Chat I find my happy grave
My deep seat of swirling frustrations paved.

Oh Albion Albion
For spirited glory I pray.
Oh Albion Albion
Please beat Wolves this Saturday.

My little dog Shite did bite me last night
Now’s my fingers red and quite swollen
It bleed quite a bit made me feel sick

I’m not gonna lie, I think of you, I dream of you.
Can’t help thinking, pulling you was my greatest ever coo (sic).
That stomach, those abs, those pictures you sent.
So I can keep tabs on you, makes me feel funny down there.
Especially when you are there and you look up and stare.
I’m beginning to think you are always right. That’s okay it will keep us tight
I’m gonna end by saying you are my love, my friend, my soul.
And most of all you believe in me.
Which makes me feel as hard as a totem pole.

A Palace fan,
He wandered lonely,
Along the Brighton front,
When apropos of nothing,
Someone shouted...

...."no walking in the bike lane"

Nothing can even come close to McGonagall.

Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
A boy stood on the burning deck,
holding a box of crackers.
One fell down his trouser leg,
and blew off both his feet.

Kitbag in Dubai
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
Brighton one, Palace nil.
