I never posted about him at all I don’t think. He was largely an irrelevance in my life then and an even bigger one now.

Pleased for him and Charlton. I know a few here wished him ill at Luton, Stoke, etc. Strange.

I don't think people wished him ill as such, it's just that some of our more excitable fans touted him as a future Albion manager. (He won a game in charge of us as interim manager y'know). More knowledgeable and intelligent fans know that he would be a disaster as Albion manager - not there's any chance of him getting the job in future as he's as far away from a modern Bloom/Barber appointment as you can get.

But yeah, I wish him well. Not everybody can manage in the Premier League.
