Best Jonsey skill moment yet. Eclipses that goal away at Forest last year for sublime skill. Perhaps an email to soccer am may remind them that he is still producing the goods.

My mate went to Forest last season and told me about the forementioned piece of sublime skill.
Guessed it MUST be on Soccer AM so sat there waiting for 'Showboating' but no... they didn't even show the goal on the earlier part of the show.

Then found out that he was apparently sh*gging Hells Bells a while ago so maybe this had a connection as to why his trickery wasn't shown. Maybe he slammed her up the Gary and she's never forgiven him since?

Apart from that blinding bit of skill (which ought to be on Showboating), one of his step-overs actually worked! Nearly fell out of me seat. Such a tragedy Knight couldn't quite get his header on target. goal of the Season easily if that had gone in.

Aside from his goal against Forest, last time one of his 'tricks' worked was three seasons ago against Leyton Orient. He just stood on the ball, on the touchline, stopped and beckoned the O's defender over to him. He fell for it hook, line, sinker, rod and copy of Angling Times. Danced past him like he wasn't there. Crap cross though.

Bit of a shame he's got to make way for Kanchelskis.

The best I've seen of Jones in a long time, probably since the tricks against Cheltenham that got him on Soccer AM.
