Name the idiot who threw the coke bottle from wsu

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Haha sorry mum :jester: Was a bit pissed last night, might've been slightly ott.

Just to clear things up, we're talking an empty bottle here, it can't be full - that's why footy grounds have you remove the lid. Really no need to try and get someone banned for that, as twattish as it is.

The lids haven't been removed at the Amex, apart from one week when the club apologised, saying that some of the staff also work at other grounds where it is policy to remove lids.
I would imagine that, in future, lids will be removed, following this incident.

There is no ban on lids at the amex.

No we're not talking an empty bottle here. If we were, it would be ridiculous.

What will naming someone achieve?

Hopefully it would stop the shitferbrains from ever even thinking about doing it again. Preferably by means of a permanent ban and a custodial sentence. If a full bottle of coke thrown from the WSU hit a kid in the WSL on the back of the head, aforesaid shitferbrains would be looking at a GBH or possibly even a manslaughter charge. And the Amex would be on the national news for the worst of all possible reasons. Frankly there's some scum that just don't deserve to share oxygen with decent people. IMHO, like.

Way ott imo. Stupid act yes, but definitely not serious enough to warrant what you're saying. As i said if someone gets hurt it should be sorted between the two parties involved. That is if the victim agrees of course!

Are you an idiot? What happens if the thrower is a neanderthal and the struck is a kid or a woman? What happens if they've killed them or severely injured them? In what conceivable parallel universe is this face to face going to be organised.

I'd grass the fucker up in an instant (and I think its a shame no-one has) and hope he got a permanent ban. I want my kid and grandson to have a reasonable expectation of safety when they go to football.

Well said, I've had no hesitation if I knew who the culprit was. They need to start making an example of twats like that. :ban:

Wind your nick in calling me an idiot. All i'm saying is, imho, people deserve a second chance. It sounds as though no one was hurt.

What to throw another one and maybe this time hit someone? Anyone who is so f***ing thick that they don't know that lobbing a full, sealed coke bottle down two tiers of a football ground and into a crowd of people is a no no may just be one of those f***ing thick people who will never know. Why are we supposed to risk it? Would you be telling us to give him a second chance if he'd killed someone?

No the whole point of second chances is that it's made clear to the person the seriousness of what they have done and the consequences if they do it again. More than likely the person will not step out of line again. But the club will have there own way of doing things and if they catch him/her it will probably be a ban.

And the point is that no one was killed or seriously hurt. It would be a different scenario if there was.

How ever much of an idiot this person is, its a club matter as if you do find out who it is what can you do realistically? Just hand there name over for the club who would have to look on there CCTV to confirm that they threw it, so you maize well just tell them to look at there CCTV to find them and then they can deal with it
