I see you're back, collecting lists, @Mustafa II

I am looking forward to the publication of 'The Ladybird book of lists' (you can use the pseudonym E.L. Wisty).

Nope - he was in the Hastings youth ranks at the time when he was 'poached'. Albion paid token compensation and the rest is history. John Gregory said if Dick Knight saw Barry run bollock naked past him on The Palace Pier he wouldn't recognise him. Villa paid up though etc.
A timely reminder, John Gregory is a twat

We had to play a home game against Brentford at their Griffin Park because pot holes had begun to appear on the Withdean pitch.

Which means that I have watched us play home matches in five different stadia.

But how many clubs have played in similar games at both ends of the football league spectrum? Hereford in ‘97 to avoid relegation from the FL, and Middlesbrough in 2016 for promotion to the PL.
Even more pertinently v Notts County at Wembley play-off 1991 (as after losing to Boro, we did have a second chance in the play-offs). And crazy when you put the dates together, and how quickly we fell.

The night match at Rochdale has to take some beating. Real people and real fan's.
Real fan's what?
Think you're mixing that up. Gary Hart signed for £1000 and a set of tracksuits from Stansted, Gareth Barry signed as school boy then nicked by Villa which went to the FA.
and we only got £600K for him, not a million.

Has any other club ever played their last game at an old ground and first game at a new ground against the same opposition? Probably only ever if the club moved into a new ground the next season and were in the same division. Certainly not so long apart.
