Nahki Wells Signs for Huddersfield Town

Nothing for Wells ( released on a free to Bradford), Madden I believe we got 50k for promotion & the board haven't said what the sell on clause was ....he's joined Scunny for £235k so even 20% is 46k so effectively, Madden has paid for 1 & a bit months of the club wage bill in the whole transaction.

Much as I hate to big up Leeds, all things being equal in money terms, I suspect if you offered 100 players the choice of Huddersfield or Leeds, the vast majority would pick Leeds every time.

He may have felt he had a better chance of getting a regular starting berth at Huddersfield. Added to which, going to Leeds wouldn't have made him particularly popular with Bradford supporters. There may be rivalry between them and Huddersfield, but Bradford's dislike of all things Leeds is stronger.
