Background? Where was it found, is that a windmill in the background? Does the sawdust come from the machine or from work that was going on around it? Etc.

The most telling shot is missing, the view at a distance from the business end.
So a windmill can only be connected to the crop, woodwork of some sort or stone dressing.
To help with a crop? Stick the corn in the chimney at the top, turn the handle and out the end you can't see comes flour. A hand corn grinder?
