Thanks for everyone's suggestions of a couple of weeks ago. They didn't have Julio Iglesias (they didn't have too many people actuallu) so in the end I went as David Bowie (and I still can't get the make-up off - I can't believe that women go through that palaver every day).
Anyway, my rousing rendition of Starman won the day and I went home clutching first prize of a top-of-the-range mobile phone. It was worth looking like a third-rate drag act for.
