When it was packed, us kids climbed over the front wall and watched the games from the edge of the pitch. Marvelous scenes.

What sort of time period was that?
Asking for an answer of 3 to 4:45, so I'll rephrase that.

What era was that happening in?

Never sat in the South but did stand there so on that basis, saw the Albion form all points of the compass at the Goldstone except the North East.

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
I never went in the South Stand, or the Lego Stand, and very rarely in the West Stand

Only game I ever watched from the East, a 1 - 1 draw I think v the Palarse where Sully scored? All a distant blur.

Still, 1963 was a good year!

I remember sitting around the pitch at White Hart Lane in the late sixties too, it seemed quite acceptable then.

Leeds fans having the majority of the east stand in 86 or was it 87 when they clinched a play off spot on the last day of the season while we were relegated :-(
Leeds manager at the time was Billy Bremner

Did West upper [seat[ once on a corporate freebie ticket, probably a dozen in the East [chicken run], all the rest in the North. Never the South, always thought its was seats for the old 'uns.

Happy days ....
