In about 1973, Sussex played Kent in a Gillette Cup Quarter Final at Hove. Kent were a strong side with Knott, Luckhurst, Underwood etc. and their fans arrogantly assumed they would walk all over us. John Snow had other ideas and blew away their top order with a spell that was as fast as I have ever seen and Sussex claimed an easy victory.

Another favourite has to be Shane Warne's first ball in a test series in England. The look on Gatting's face as he walked was classic.

Greig's sporting attempt to run out Kallicharan who was walking off after play had closed in a test in the Windies, was highly enteraining. Greig claimed that as the umpires hadn't called that play had ended, play was still active. The umpires initially supported Grieg's appeal and a massive international row ensued resulting in Kallicharan being e-instated the next morning.
More of an incident than performance, but still memorable.

Harmison against the Windies, 2nd innings at Port of Spain this year was pretty impressive
