I was in Aberdeen recently and went in to pay my nan's council tax and they have the signs in Urdu, Arabic AND Polish, I thought it was a bit odd at first, then I just thought it was really cool.

It makes me laugh out loud to think that TWATS like you are getting all angry and worked into a frenzy about it

Signs in languages other than English are hardly new. Part of my family lived in Rotherhithe, SE16 (not far from Millwall FC). I have childhood memories of signs all over the place in Norwegian. And St Olaf's, the big church at the tunnel entrance, was (and still is) a Church of Norway establishment.

Jersey has public signs in English, French and Portuguese.

For years, Brighton buses have had signs in Finnish (and half a dozen other languages) telling people not to stand on the top deck.
