MUSHTAQ SIGNS TWO-YEAR DEAL AT SUSSEX
Mushtaq Ahmed has agreed a new two-year deal with county champions Sussex.
The Pakistani leg-spinner contributed more than 100 wickets to Sussex's first ever county title, and director of cricket Peter Moores is delighted Mushtaq will as expected be returning to Hove for the next two summers.
"This is great news for everyone associated with the club, because Mushtaq's impact both on and off the field has been outstanding," said Moores.
"Personally, I'm looking forward to working with Mushtaq again and taking on the challenge of defending the trophy."
:: Chris Adams' squad will travel to Buckingham Palace tomorrow when they - and Sussex's successful women's team - will be re-presented by the Duke of Edinburgh with the championship trophies they won earlier this year.
