1) Top goalscorer at the Club.
2) Wins countless free-kicks in dangerous areas
3) Best defensive header of the ball in home penalty box
4) Class player with good first touch.
I' m pissed off like everyone else that he has gone to Palace but he will be sorely missed.
When you weigh up his total contribution...he was our best player.

I had a Murray watch for a while. It was great in fits and bursts for a couple of years, but kept needing some tinkering to its cogs and new batteries. Sometimes it was too slow and lethargic and I was always late for important dates. Worked perfectly in the last year, but now I can't find it :(

:lol::lol::lol:

And if you do come across it, you'll find you have to keep winding it up punk:

Still not seen any interview or him holding the Palace shirt yet, would have thought they would have trotted him out quickish seeing as how he is their major summer signing

More concerned about losing Bennett personally. I didn't think Murray would be able to hack the Champs even before he joined the scum.

I can't even begin to think about Benno's departure either, its too soon!

Does anyone know if Murray has actually signed a contract yet?

I ask because i was told something the other day but totally dismissed it.

If you replaced that last sentence with "...he was one of our best players" I would agree with you.

The best we can hope for is that we get someone a lot better and that Murray's career goes down the bog.

Perhaps his shoulder injury is so bad he can't hold one up.
It does seem a long time now from that injury against Southampton, must be nearly two and half months.

He has a good all round game thanks to Gus and the coaches. He scored so many goals becuase of the supply, can't see him scoring more than 10 next season.

He's still our player until tomorrow night as his contract expires on 30 June. I suspect we will see a pic on Friday - and, who knows maybe even a caption competition on here??? - No, move on, he is the past, not the future.

Starting at his new club with an injury that will no doubt keep him out of many games in his first and second seasons (sound familiar).
I really think the Amex will not see him play there in the first season, as a mystery injury will keep him out.

SOUTH LONDON PRESS TODAY | SPORT | Palace new boy Glenn Murray to avoid contact work

In response to this on the BBS

"I hope they have not passed on a crock"

and

"Clearly we've signed him to fill the gap left vacant ever since Clinton Morrison left the club."
