Looks like the Digger is prepared to do anything to get 100% of Sky.

I wonder who the new owners of The Sun and The Times might be?

Sky make £1billion+ . The Sun and NotW make under £100m iirc and subsidise The Times.

which would you want more.

interesting to note how badly this has all gone, for someone feared and considered so powerful

I can reveal I am the proud new owner of The Times. Picked it up half an hour ago at the newsagent....

Seriously though, wonder if Tony Bloom fancies a publishing empire. If he bought the sun would the return of sales in Liverpool offset those lost in Croydon?

Murdoch to sell ALL the papers?

Bit of a comedown from being a media magnate, but hey, times are hard, I guess.

I suspect that if this Murdoch's hacking woes grow; 9/11 victims eyed? - CBS News story turns out to be true then murdoch won't have a company left to buy bskyb with. If the Americans and Am,erican shareholders start deserting him then Nc has every chance of dissappearing as a viable company.

Jees. It's no exaggeration to say that if there is any substance whatsoever to that story, he will be FINISHED. The Americans are still incredibly raw regarding 9/11, and the upcoming 10th anniversary will only heighten that. If there is a link between his scummy media operations and victims phones being hacked, then he will lose American backers and sponsors faster than Blatter can make a nasty whistleblower go away.

I love this quote from an Australian Journo - and I hope it turns out to be true...

Mark Day in The Australian:

Murdoch has many enemies and the pack now senses his vulnerability and is turning on him. Expect a feeding frenzy of unprecedented fury.

Yep, I thought the same. And there have been rumours for months now that the US arm were involved in hacking phones. The yanks will probably not care if someone has hacked Obama's phone but if they HAVE done 9/11 victims or relatives then I reckon it will be sayonara for news corporation.

Gordon Brown's phone and bank details hacked too. Irrespective of your political views, this surely reflects the view taken by Rebekah and Co that they could do what they want, when they wanted, to whom they wanted.

But Gordon Brown's bank details were hacked by the Times. Is this the first time another News International paper has been drawn into this scandal?

Now they're being accused of blagging, trying to get hold of Browns bank account and medical details

Any evidence of ARS being hacked Ernest, we all know you have the SMOKING GUN file linking Dick Tight to the missing Wembley '83 money....
