You can't help think that the Aussies had it in for Murali, its verging on dirty tricks. As has been said, what more can the guy do - people should just accept it now.

And (I know this isn't the point) but it must be destroying to have the legality of basically your career challenged. Unless you're a bank robber, possibly. I'm sure Kirtley feels the same.

Sorry, I meant to say he can bowl without straightening if told to. The law states that you can bowl with a bent arm as long as it is not straightened during the delivery. I think he does straighten.

Have not seen the programme but as far as i am concerned it is not about whether the arm is bent, but whether it starts off bent and then straightens.

Murali's arm stays bent in the same position through his action, therefore legal.

I dont understand what more he has to do, people should just get off his back and allow him to do his magic.

Cricket would certanly be poorer without him.

It is not helped that due to his arm and shoulder being the way it is, there is a jerk in his shoulder at the same time as he is moving is wrist. This gives the impression that hes elbow moves.
