Anyone know why for the first time today I can't sign in to MSN. It says I am working behind a firewall that does allow direct installation to the internet. However this has never come up before and I have not installed any new software.

I heard reports of it doing that to people yesterday. Not sure what's happening there, but it's not just you.

Hotmail used to deny me entrance becuase I had disabled cookies when I had done no such thing!

WHO KNOWS!?

Everyone on broadband is fine (I'm not sure about AOL broadband...)
I was able to go online last night and found I was the only one able to!

My tragic little dial up link on my brand new Windows XP home desktop is working fine with MSN here in Redneck land. Not so Yahoo which is totally intercoursed.

Been trying all bloody morning to log on. Keep getting the same old pop up suggesting I may not be connected to the internet!! :shootself Am I correct in saying its something we have to wait for AOL to rectify then and there's nothing I can do?

********I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON**********

its all about aol users. you wont get in no matter how much you try untill it is fixed.

i was assured it would be up and running by this morning but, as u know, this is not the case.

'the complexiety of the issue is grave and though i cant give you an exact time it will be up, aol promise you we are working on it' i was told this at 8.30.

so its just a matter of waiting or getting rid of aol and using a different server.
