First of all I would like to give my respects to the family of Ken Bigley who had his life taken away by the most evil way imaginable.

But my main point is why didn't dictator Blair do more to get his release? He says we can't and won't deal with terrorist's but please tell me if I've missed something, but didn't the government sit down at the same table with the IRA? f*** me if that isn't two faced then I don't know what is.

The second point I'd like to make is that Blair let this man get murdered, Fact! Now what do you think what would of happened if it was Tony Blairs son kidnapped in Iraq? Do you think he'd have said the same thing like we don't and won't deal with these people. Oh no, his son would of been free with in days.

Blair do us all a favour and resign you dictator.

Now Blair wants our troops to fight in Africa, How many more lives will be lost there? Is this man for real?

I'm a builder not a politician, But if i was then I'd of bent over backwards to help my own citizen's.

We shouldn't be there in the first place.

I see where you are coming from TD, and I feel Blair is in a way partly responsible for Ken Bigley's death. However once he was taken i do not feel there was much he could have done. The real issue as always is why did we go to war in the first place not only without a UN resolution supporting action, but also with no plan on what to do after the fall of Saddam.

And that is the question I would like Blair to answer, without all this WMD or 'Saddam's a nasty bloke' bullshit.

blair could have done nothing more on the matter FACT.

there was no female hostages to release in the first place under our control so he is being slagged for not meeting demands which were physically impossible to meet!

also saving 1 life will indicate more radicals to hostage take and therefore leave us in an even more vulnarable position. i cant believe how some people look at these situations in such a basic way. shame really because i feel blair and the government did all they can and its such a tragic lose

Aside from the horror of this murder, and the politics that see Britain involved in Iraq - should not Ken Bigley be also ''partly responsible'' for his incarceration and subsequent death? (RIP).

I'm not being flippant, and I would certainly love to see the Earth be a free place for all to roam - but I wouldn't advocate anyone stick around in such a hostile environement, and after all advice from US and UK for all our citizens to leave there.
I had heard that he was skint, and doing good things for Iraq - but those terrorists are not known to give a shit or care to reason.

yeah cracking point there TERRY.

lets give in to terrorists, meet their demands and see where that gets us.

every pikey with a gun would be kidnapping people and making demands.
