Moyes gone!

He hasn't exactly helped himself.

* He bought Fellaini for £27m, and he has been gash. Meanwhile his replacement at Everton, Ross Barkley, (constantly overlooked by Moyes) has gone from strength to strength.
* He told everyone who would listen that he had taken Everton as far as he could. Seemingly, not very far then, considering the job Martinez has done
* He bought £35m Juan Mata and played him out of position

The Fellaini deal was a huge mistake. Was obvious that he was not the player they needed (a replacement for Scholes). They must have been looking at Martinez and thinking SAF picked the wrong one! Mind you, considering how defensively-minded Moyes is it's strange how crap Manure are defensively.

United supporter on Sky Sports News saying that Man Utd 'Deserve the very best manager (s)'. Erm, no you fecking don't you arrogant ****.

I like the way that Taggart has kept very quiet throughout the whole shambles that he created.

I thought they had to inform the NY Stock Exchange before making an announcement. It doesn't open for hours yet.

Maybe they were informed last night?

Wish I could get 6 years wages for only 10 months work !

EDIT - just seen the post above. Still one years wages probably isn't too shabby.

BREAKING: David Moyes sacked by Manchester United.

He is the first Man Utd manager to be sacked since 1986.

One final record broken!

It just shows what a good job Fergie did with their crocks last season. You know Fergie, the one who was given time to settle in and get things his way despite a poor first season. That bloke.

Things were a lot different in 1986.

Meant to be "only" 1 years salary as there was a clause relating to CL qualification.

Wish I could get 6 years wages for only 10 months work !

EDIT - just seen the post above. Still one years wages probably isn't too shabby.

His annual salary is (was) reportedly £5m.

Just ridiculous. How idiotic are these chairmen. EVERY time a manager has been a success, they have been given time. Thank goodness we have a chairman with a brain who doesn't listen to mindless, reactionary idiots.

Just shows the changing face of football. Ferguson had time to learn and build, Moyes is in the instant success era.
The same thing will happen to the next Arsenal manager. He'll be given 6 months or else......

Well done Agent Moyes. It's a shame you could continue your work for a little longer. Never mind. Now you can return to managing clubs well. Congratulations on your work done this season.

I think Ferguson always had Moyes lined up for his job and Moyes knew it. Problem was Ferguson hung on too long and that's why Moyes stayed so long at Everton. Notwithstanding that, whoever followed Ferguson was in a no win situation.

Still, it's nice to see one set of arrogant premier league fans suffer. Hopefully their poor form will continue into next season.
