Blimey!!!!

Is the guy (silver'ish hair with beard) who also spoke with us an NSCer

I was the guy with the short crew cut - talking to the old bill as well.

PM

Yep Perry, That's DannyCullipLookalike'sdad.

We will speak again at future matches mate.

When we got on the train there seemed to be a commotion behind us at the station entrance. Someone said there were clashes between Albion and QPR fans. I didn't actually see anything though.

Saw the bloke in the pink shirt (who got turfed out of our end) again walking along the road at the end of the game back towards the station. He was in a small goup of about 10 QPR who were constantly looking round expecting something to happen. At Preston Park station a small group of Albion were waiting for them and Mr. Pink Shirt was at the forefront of getting things started (even though his group stood by the Police before doing so). Police separated the two groups and then forced all Brighton fans, even bystanders, onto the first train in (thankfully it went to Brighton).

He most certainly was not simply there for anything as innocent as a harmless DAY OUT as he apparently put it when ejected, from the shouting I overheard at the station both groups were taunting each other over previous encounters home and away.

I get off at East Croydon

Later on in the journey the communication chord got pulled and the whispers on the train was that it was a misdemeanour from our West London neighbours.

Not a regular at Withdean! Cannot afford it for myself and my two boys but certainly was good to speak with you. Regards to DCL'sD as well (Sorry for sitting in his seat at Watford!!

Quite frankly mate you're talking bollocks! Albion fans couldn't get tickets? ... the attendance was 6600, which means it wasn't a sell-out. If people are whinging about not getting tickets for this game, perhaps they should ask themselves how hard they tried cos it really isn't hard.

Which would you prefer? Away fans getting tickets in the home end or no away fans in the home end and even lower attendances and therefore less income...you choose. Like every club, we've got our share of dickheads ... it's unfortunate some of them got tickets in the home end on Saturday but the stewards failed to deal with it until late on. There were however many like me who know how to behave when in the home end ... you didn't know I was there! It would be interesting to know exactly how many QPR fans there were in the home end, including those who didn't give ourselves away cos that just might give you an idea of the crowd you'd have got if you'd had your way.

Of course, if these thousands of so-called true Albion fans that you speak so fondly off who are being denied tickets got off their arses and supported their club (as they did in Cardiff only a few months ago), there wouldn't be an issue, would there? :censored:

I think pal that most of us would prefer a safe environment in which we, and our families, can watch the game. We have not yet reached the point where this can be guaranteed in an un-segregated stand. None of us will ever know how many QPR fans sat in areas designated for us, what I do know is that the pink shirted idiot was (1) not alone and (2) actively looking for trouble afterwards (with others of his kind) at PP station. I saw this first hand as I had the misfortune of trying to get a train back at the same time.

I can only guess therefore that he (and those sat with him) would not have been adverse to also looking for trouble inside the ground and hence would rather their seats had been empty.

And another thing Mr FG Fuckwit ... I assume you won't want any other teams fans supporting you in your fight to get Falmer or joining you on the march next week, cos you wouldn't want to let Prescott think it's not just you lot that think you should get Falmer would you?

No doubt you just want your millions of TRUE Albion fans on the march?

Apologies to everyone else but his incessant rantings have really pissed me off ... as perhaps you might have gathered ... and now I'm going to move slowly away from the computer ... and breathe!

QPR game was sold out ages ago and confirmed on here too, clearly true Albion fans have been devied access to a seat in the home end in favour of visiting fans. Of course im pleased some visitors saw fot not to cause problems but that doiesnt alter fact they shouldnt be there in the first place! We have thousands that cant get into Withdean on a regular basis its an UTTER DISGRACE that away fans are in the home end.

If it was SOLD OUT then how come the attendance was 6612?

The QPR game went on general sale less than 2 weeks before the game and there is nothing on the official site to indicate that the game had sold out so I beg to differ. I also disagree that there are thousands of Brighton fans unable to get tickets...how many games have you sold out this season? I hope you prove me wrong by selling out the Sheff U game but I doubt it will happen.

HOWEVER having calmed down, I think I owe you an apology. We disagree on this issue, that's our right but I was abusive and that was wrong and I apologise. I think we'll have to agree to disagree and hope you accept my apology.

SOLD OUT does not mean that ALL SEATS have been sold. It merely means that all AVAILABLE SEATS FOR SALE have been sold.

all clubs have to hold back a percentage of seats for safety reasons, and also for sponsors, guests, staff, players etc etc, so we will never sell tickets for all the seats, but we may well sell all the tickets that are put up for sale.

I think 6612 is around the nearest we're gonna get to every ticket being sold as our "officicla capacity" is 6700+

If that was the case How come a relative of mine purchased a couple of tickets the Wednesday before ? Having contacted the club shop while buying the new kit.Asked on the off chance about tickets and had no trouble getting them.

Knobs

saw them myself .they were in front of us walking home. One of them lives just by the withdean..He was a bit quiet when he noticed we had seen where he lived and made a point of telling us he did not live here. That was until his knob mate said to him"pick you up tuesday bruv"

The attendance was higher for the Wolves game. 6804

Tickets sold are not the same thing as attendance figures. Ned was ill and so couldn't attend. He has a season ticket so his seat was 'sold' but he didn't go through the turnstile so therefore wasn't included in the 'attendance' figures.

any one who says they have been unable to get tickets, this or last season, from general sale has not tried hard enough

Okay I'll put it another way, I'm sure you could have contacted the club on Friday and still got a ticket as I never saw anywhere that the game was 'sold out'.

Anyway, I took a mate of mine to the game who wanted to go because he's a QPR fan. He sat there chatting and enjoying the game. Not causing trouble, winding anyone up - not even me - and was very restrained when they scored. He used the season ticket of a mate of mine who was on holiday.

I do not feel I did anything wrong, and I think it's become a sad place if it's felt I shouldn't have done it. Can opposing fans not sit together, especially if they are friends? Come on, what's wrong with that?
