Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere but did anyone notice Keith Burkinshaw sitting next to Paul Barber. Apart from the obvious Tottenham connection, any other reason he might be there?

Karanka's best mate so supporting his friend

Probably not tho, eh. More a cynical strategy by his agent to keep him in the public eye and keep football people talking about him. They even admit as much:

As it was, that decision to off-load the forward has bitten the Blues' boss, who issued a statement on Saturday via his agents.

It read: “Jose will not be taking a sabbatical, he isn’t tired, he doesn’t need it, he is very positive, and is already looking forward.
...
“Because of his love of football, you will see Jose at football grounds working and supporting friends. He will not be attending any high-profile games because he wants to discourage any speculation about his future.'

Very much doubt he would have been at the Amex if we weren't on the telly.

Why? Can't see how, TV or not, it would make the slightest difference to his future or profile. If there's one football 'personality' whose agent doesn't need to work hard to keep in the public eye, it's Mourinho!

If you don't like him, fair enough, but don't invent things to suit your agenda.

It is a fact that Karanka is a good mate of his.

Thought he looked familiar at the time on the box, was trying to work out who he was

Behave Tom, Mourinho doesnt need to try to stay in the publc eye , the media speculation about where he goes next will reach ridiculous proportions over the near future.
