This didn't get any coverage leading up to the referendum but consider the following:
1. Petrol price increase as £ falls against $
2. Petrol price increase as fuel duty raised to gain more tax revenue
3. The Road Traffic Act rewritten to remove compulsory third party cover within EU, therefore if taking your vehicle aboard need to extend all policy cover (no free periods) additional premium charged.
4. Need to go back in time and obtain and take with you a Green Card
5. No mutual recognition of driver licence so an international driver permit required whuich needs to be brought
6. Higher vehicle purchase price as UK and EU minimum safety standards are no longer the same
7. More accidents involving lorry and ciach drivers as the working time directive is repelled leading to more tired drivers
And the list goes on and on
No doubt other industries will see similar increase in cost and red tape.
