Am I going senile ? I am absolutly convinced they covered Purple Haze . Maybe I'm getting confused with Snuff , and I ducked and dived through Get off of my cloud instead . Only have the first album and saw them a lot in the eighties , so my memory is a bit misty. .....................Could have sworn it though.

I once worked in a Little Chef on the Dorking roundabout. Some travelling folk has their wedding reception there. Cost them a pretty penny too. Heating up 120 frozen omelettes was the highlight of my little chef career.

I had one of those once - expecting (for some reason) it to be prepared there and then, and be made of eggs. The texture was like lumpy cardboard.

Thanks for the reminder. It was just outside Lincoln. My last visit to a Little Chef.
