I love AFS but it is probably slightly influenced by THAT scene in Platoon.

I will take your AFS and try and trump it with The End by The Doors (Apocalypse Now). That is truly depressing.

The haunting violin music from Schindler's List is right up there as well. Not sure if it's been released as a soundtrack.
